Remy Ashour is in Singapore for a four-day visit (13-16 Aug 2013).He is here as part of World Squash body bid for Squash to be included in 2020 Olympics, a global campaign bid that started together with world FEMALE no 1 Nicol David of Malaysia .
 

“It will be the pinnacle for every squash player to play at the Olympics,” said Ashour who, as a 16-year-old in 2004, became the youngest to win the Junior World Championship.
 
“Definitely, I want to be an Olympic champion, but even if I don’t become one, since I will be 32 at the time, I can still compete and still be proud to be one of the guys who made it happen.” (Source: Todayonline interview)

The International Olympic Committee (IOC) will annouce somewhere in Sept in IOC next meeting in Argentia if squash will be eventually included as an Olympic sport in 2020
 
While he is in singapore he will be playing exhibition matches and conducting clinics.
